Hon'ble Chief Guest Sir, Respected Teachers, Guardian and friends.
First of all I wish you a very happy Independence Day. On this occasion of the national festival, today I am feeling very happy to get the opportunity to share my thoughts with all of you. Today, we all are celebrating 75th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. To mark this occasion India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and various programmes are being organised across the nation. On this occasion, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India addresses the whole country from the ramparts of Lal Quila after the flag rohan ceremony.
When the people of the entire world were sleeping, people of India were struggling and fighting against British rulers to get freedom from British rule. Initially, the Britishers came to India to do some business and took a lot of wealth, gold and silver from India. Then they gradually made everything under their control by unfair means. They made Indians their slave, treated unequally and tortured them a lot. To oppose these atrocities a Sepoy mutiny started in 1857 at barakpur by a soldier Mangal Pandey. The military revolt of 1857 was a very important turning point for Indian independence. After this, a movement started in the entire country against the tyranny of the British rule. People actively participated in the Indian freedom struggle and Civil Disobedience Movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.
Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad and other brave soldiers sacrificed their lives in this war of independence. Subsequently, after many battles and movements, India became independent on 15 August 1947. Many brave patriot of our country sacrificed their lives in this battle of freedom. Today, we are living in Independent India because of these brave warriors of the country. To mark this auspicious day and to pay tribute to our brave warriors we celebrate Independence day on 15th August every year.

Since then, we celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm every year on 15 August, paying tribute to the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our motherland.
The Britishers ruled India for about 350 years before 15 August 1947. Initially, Britishers came to India for trade gradually he spread their business across the country and taken control over India. British rulers subjugated India and started brutal atrocities against Indians. But in 1857 brave sons of Mother India began to raise their voice against the atrocities of the British and since then they fought many continuous battles and movements against the British. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Khudiram Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad etc brave freedom fighters gave their lives for freedom. Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Balgangadhar Tilak, etc. Great sons of Mother India inspired the people of the country to join the freedom movement. After many battles and movements, the British had to hand over power to the Indians and India became an independent nation on 15th August 1547.
We all are very fortunate because we are born in independent India where we get all the basic rights of life automatically and all this has been possible only because of our freedom fighters and constitution makers.
